POET'S REST is an intimate community living experience, somewhat like Francis Schaeffer's L'Brie in Switzerland, or like an Israeli Kibbutz, or possibly an Italian apartment villa. We believe in living in community in order to flesh out what the body of Christ is to be. Although we love to discuss topics of every nature, we feel that it is better to live honestly and rub shoulders to become more like Christ than to always be right theologically.
There are private study areas for artists, researchers, students,
writers, musicians, missionaries, as well as community rooms for
meetings, making music or watching shows.
We provide room, furniture & utilities. Dinner conversations
around here can be compelling!
Rooms are provided on a semester by semester lease: September through December, January through May, and Summer. $200 deposit required. $475 per month.
