POET'S REST is an intimate community living experience, somewhat like Francis Schaeffer's L'Brie in Switzerland, or like an Israeli Kibbutz, or possibly an Italian apartment villa.  We believe in living in community in order to flesh out what the body of Christ is to be.  Although we love to discuss topics of every nature, we feel that it is better to live honestly and rub shoulders to become more like Christ than to always be right theologically.

 

There are private study areas for artists, researchers, students, writers, musicians, missionaries, as well as community rooms for meetings, making music or watching shows.

 

We provide room and board as follows:  furniture, utilities, breakfast foods, paper products and at least three dinners per week, many from the backyard grill.
